There Is A Place Where You Can Go

When your life hits the low spots,
And you feel you are sinking in despair,
When you feel like the whole world is against you,
And no one seems to care.

When it seems like no matter how hard you try,
It's never good enough,
And you get so far down,
The only way you can go is up.

I tell you my friend,
there is a place you can go,
And it's not too far away,
It's down on your knees,
To ask God for help.......to pray.

When you just need a friend,
Someone that you know will lend an ear,
Someone that you can confide in,
And tell them all your fears.

When you need to get rid of the burdens,
That you have carried for so long,
When you need to lay them down,
So that your life can go on.

I tell you my friend,
there is a place you can go,
And it's not to far away,
It's down on your knees,
Just to talk to God......to pray.

And when things are going great,
Everything seems to fall in place,
When you whistle while you work,
With a smile on your face.

And you feel like you are blessed,
In everything you do,
And every where you look,
You see God's glory shining through.

I tell you my friend,
there is a place you can go,

To give thanks to God...... to pray
