You Can't Make A Monkey Out Of Me

Why did Mr. Darwin try to make a monkey out of me,
And say that my ancestors swung from a tree ?
If he would just open his eyes, it would be plain to see,
That a living God created you and me.

If he thinks that we "evolved" from monkeys and apes,
He is really making a big mistake,
Just because a person likes bananas doesn't make it be,
That his great-great grandpa was a chimpanzee.

Now I never thought I was the "best looking" man in the room,
But I sure didn't think I ever resembled a baboon,
Darwin can believe all that garbage, if he must,
I know that my God created Mr. from the dust.

It was his own image that He used when He created me,
Not some animal who lives in a tree,
Mr. Darwin, here is a secret that Christians have always known,
Your "Theory of Evolution" is wrong.

If anyone thinks that humans once had a tail,
They need to open their Bibles and their minds as well,
Pray that God will help them understand,
That they never was a monkey, they were always a man.
