Living, Day By Day

At the beginning of each day,
on my knees to the Lord I pray,
let me on this morning begin,
to live to sunset without a sin.
Please fulfill all my need,
so sinful desires I will not heed.
At the end of each day
on my knees to the Lord I say,
thank you dear Lord for your aid,
for helping me not to be afraid
of living each and every day
in a loving Christian way.
